The dog shows can be

  1. a) International – Issue of CACIB and CAC;
  2. b) National – Release of CAC;
  3. c) Regional – do not issue certificates, but often are won many awards;
  4. d) Meetings – events organized by associations with specialized regulations

special pre-approved by ENCI.

or according to breeds:

  1. a) General – if you include all races;
  2. b) Special – when they are granted by the competent specialized association and shall take place within national or international exposure

Between 6 and 9 months the dog is registered in the Junior class

Between 9 and 15 months the dog goes in class writing Young

Between 15 and 18 months you can choose between the class and the class Young Intermedia / free.

15 to 24 months may be enrolled in intermediate or free.

From 24 months only in open class.
For dogs that have already been proclaimed champions there is the Champion class

For dogs that have obtained the certificate of fitness for work (in hunting tests) is’ expected the working class

Each class has a winner both male and female who have obtained the CAC or CACIB and the last play-off is to get the best of breed (BOB): the dog that follows this title will then present to the group to which it belongs and winners come to dispute the best in Show (BIS)

The various reports that you can win in dog shows are:
CAC: Certificate of Aptitude to the Championship, one for males and one for females, in Open Class

RCAC: Reserve CAC

CACIB: Certificate of Aptitude for International Champion of Beauty, one for males and one for females, to be played in the Open class and the Champion class. The dispute is between the CACIB the First and Second in Champion class, and between the First and Second Class Free.

RCACIB: is the reserve CACIB.

The awards that can be won in canine exposure are:

BOB: Best of Breed, Best of Breed is the famous; this title is disputed between the First finishers in each class except for the Juniors.

BOS: Best Of Opposite Sex, Best of Opposite Sex is. On display is chosen the best male and best female; one of them will receive the Best of Breed (BOB), the other will be the Best of Opposite Sex (BOS).
BOG: Best Of Group.Which is that the subject that obtained the BOB goes automatically to represent his race in the group of TERRIER in the case of westie.

BIS: Best in Show, Best of all is for the exposure. That is, every dog will have won their group, will play this title.

In order for the dog to become Italian champion or international champion you need a certain number of these certificates:
Champion of International Beauty
Is obtained with the following titles for races not tested for work:

4 C.A.C.I.B. (Certificate of attitude to international championship of beauty) in three different countries and at least three different judges, no matter the number of participants.

One of C.A.C.I.B. must be obtained in the country of residence of the owner or in the country of origin of the breed.

Minimum period of 1 year and 1 day between the first and the last CACIB.

Italian champion of beauty
It ‘a title that is given to dogs that compete in Open class.

The dog must have achieved the following results in the race:

6 C.A.C. (certificate of aptitude for the national championship of beauty) of which at least two acquired International Exhibition and 2 1st excellent (CAC) in Open Class in gatherings or special exhibitions.

Securities issued by at least five different judges

The rules that govern the issuance of such certificates are different depending on the type of the event; they are detailed in the special regulations governing the various manifestations.

Only certificates, qualifications, rankings, the awards and distinctions achieved in special events recognized by ENCI are considered valid by the latter and may be cited and incorporated in official publications Italian and foreign.

Breeding Sample Champion

The Breeding Sample Champion, which can also be assigned to the memory, which is obtained from the dog, coupled with at least two different entities, has produced:

3 samples of Italian beauty, or

6 different subjects qualified “excellent” in exhibitions or gatherings.

Young promise E.N.C.I.

It ‘a title that is given to dogs that compete in Junior class.

The dog must have totaled 30 points to qualify in various exhibitions based on the following calculation:

5 points for every 1 ° EXCELLENT class youth international expo;

3 points for every 1 ° EXCELLENT class youth in national expo;

3 points for every 1 ° EXCELLENT class youth rally.

QUALIFICATIONS
EXCELLENT (ECC.): This qualification is to be attributed to a subject that is as close as possible to the ideal standard of the breed – that is presented in immaculate condition – that achieve a harmonious and balanced – that have “class” and a brilliant gait. He will have to establish itself for its great quality which will make him forgive any imperfections and must possess the characteristics of the sex to which he belongs.

VERY GOOD (MB): this status must be attributed to the subject perfectly in kind, balanced in its proportions, in good physical condition. Be tolerated some venial fault, but not morphological. This qualification can not reward a quality dog.

GOOD (B.): this status should be given to a dog that possesses the characteristics of the race, while accusing defects, provided, however, that these are not redhibitory.

GOOD ENOUGH (AB): this qualification is to be attributed to a dog sufficiently typical, without significant quality or not in good physical condition.
